~ Honey Bun ~

The other morning I was up very early to put the finishing touches on Eulalie, affectionately  known as "Honey Bun". When I would have her try on her clothing as I was making her, I would say "OK, come over here, Honey Bun" and the name stuck. Just had to use a treasured piece of old blue calico for her apron. Gave her a hug and sent her off...

She's such a sweet gal..........and quite BIG, if that's this doll you are holding in the profile pic on the side-bar.
Sometimes it can be quite difficult to judge sizes just from photos.

Thanks so much Shelley and tj! Hope your weekends are fantastic too!

Hah Hah, Susie! No, that's Indigo and Sharon, the owner of Country Meadows in my sidebar. (I'm in the pix beneath it) Yes, they do have similar dresses. ( And I suppose we sort of do look a bit alike). Indigo is a bit larger though. What can I say? I just love that old brown and blue calico, even more when they are together! Thanks, Happy weekend!

Ohh! Ooops! I had another look and I can see that it's not you.....similar hair - and if I'd had a PROPER look, I would have seen that it is a different doll.

But they are both beautiful.

Dear Rebecca I want you to know that it was an extreme honor to have you visit my blog. Oh I could you just kick myself for not realizing when I first saw your name who you were. Rebecca I have been I feel your number one fan of your work. Each one of your pieces are a true master piece! I dream of one day being able to have one of your works of art. Rebecca there is nothing like an old worn apron it is like wearing a story each stain being the title of how they got there
Peace and Blessings
Cheryl...Snatch JOY~!

OMG, Cheryl, Thank you!
You know, sometimes the phrase "simple elegance" is over used, but I think the design of you dolls is truly that! Beautiful!
Oy, if thats the case, I must be a walking library with the aprons that I have!

Vicki, glad you stopped by. Thanks.

Betty, a big "thanks" to you and Deb. Sorry I haven't been checking in at TPP much lately, been up to my eyeballs in dollie parts. Just got done sweeping up the floor, it was getting dangerously deep in fabric scraps, paper, clay bits and who knows what else!
